Huge thanks to everyone who came along on June 4th to our Bike Carnival and Community Picnic event, it was such a lovely atmosphere. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making the event happen – on the day itself and also beforehand with all the making, planning and preparation.
There was a great team cycling around The Meadows in vegetable and fruit costumes (massive thanks to Piecing Together and others who made such great costumes), a wonderful Party in the Rainforest show with drumming, singing and puppets, delicious pizza in our outdoor oven from The Secret Pizza, fantastic music and spoken word from World Jam, cream teas and a children’s activity area. So brilliant to see so many people of all ages enjoying time in the gardens. Thank you to everyone who came along.
It’s such a special team of people involved in making things happen at the gardens – community events like this always feel so wonderful.
Our next event is July 16th. We’re open every Tues – Saturday for you to drop in and have an explore. There’s delicious organic produce available and we’ve got plenty of seats if you want to bring a picnic.
